Gülfem Baştuğ, began her early education at Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions and continued her studies at Nişantaşı Anatolian High School (English High School). She earned her law degree from Istanbul Commerce University, where she was awarded a merit-based scholarship for academic excellence.
Following her graduation, she pursued a Master’s degree in Labor and Social Security Law at the Institute of Social Sciences at Marmara University under the Work and Industrial Relations program. In 2010, Gülfem obtained her trademark attorney certification from the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, and since 2014, she has served as an Expert Mediator within the Ministry of Justice’s Mediation Department, specializing in both mandatory and voluntary mediation.

Dedicated to legal education, Gülfem frequently delivers seminars to students at various educational levels, including primary schools, sharing her legal expertise and insights.
Growing up in a family of legal professionals, Gülfem has dedicated herself to the legal and mediation professions while also actively contributing to various non-governmental organizations and publications. She began her legal career as an intern with the Istanbul Bar Association in 2009 and has been practicing law at her office in Istanbul since 2010. In addition to her professional pursuits, she is a mother to one child and two cats.
